/ Activizing the Plaza |

A banner reads: "The Plaza is now open to all visitors."
Another banner states: "Plaza membership self-registration is now enabled."
Of what use are these measures when visitors and newbies find nothing to interact with?
No member seems to be interested in keeping discussions going and starting new ones.
I have practically stopped logging in -- just stray in once in a while to see if something is stirring.

Time we wind up this thread, so here's the answer: >> This is not a logic problem at all and the format implying that it is a simply a red herring. The gods are actually the names of the planets. All the names of the planets were changed from Roman gods to Greek gods (with the reverse for Uranus). Earth is referred to as myself in the puzzle.
The footrace order is the order of the planets from the sun. The basketball game points are the number of moons discovered orbiting each planet by the end of 2008. This number can change as more moons are discovered.
Therefore Ares came in fourth place and scored 2 points.
The information here is based on Wikipaedia.
Mercury - Hermes - 0 Venus - Aphrodite - 0 Earth - 1 Mars - Ares - 2 Jupiter - Zeus - 63 Saturn - Cronus - 60 Uranus - Coelus - 27 Neptune - Poseidon - 8 -- 13 Pluto - Hades - 1 - (1 + 2) <<
No brownies for anyone (including the setter).
The thread may be closed after two days unless there is a discussion.
Thank you all.

Let me explain the clues: >> 1. MASTER RON rearranged around 'O'=ASTRONOMER 2.( SO+LAR ) and YOU -->MAN 3.'Actually you don't need Einstein here' = This is not the Einstein-type logic puzzle (5 people, 5 pets, 5 residences etc.) The additional clue leads to a reputed Classical scholar and lexicographer. << Can you now work out what the two events mean ?

Who do I contact for details?
Thanks, Praveen
P.s.: It's much quieter here than it was the last time I logged in - 3 years back !

Fifteen days and twenty-five views -- but no answer.
Here's a hint: >> First consider the consequences of the combinations where C is true then false in the middle. Then consider these two possibilities when C is at one end. Do the same with B. << (Hint supplied by the source.)
Now can you find the answer?

Although i know some ppl there, i don't visit chennai often. After a gap of nearly ten years, i'd been to chennai last year for my cousin's wedding in velachery. It will probably be another ten years before I go there again.

Well. all those options are out for various personal reasons and this is not the place for listing them.
I live in a Senior Citizens' Home run by the Andhra Mahila Sabha Trust -- it's between Mylapore and Adyar, cheek by jowl with the official residences of judges and ministers. If you are planning to visit Chennai, you can let me know by IM or e-mail and I shall give you details about location, visiting hours etc.
